Rishi is a seasoned labour and employment lawyer. Between 2004 and 2024, Rishi acted as counsel in labour and employment matters for unionized and non-unionized employers in a variety of industries. He also prosecuted wrongful dismissal actions on behalf of non-unionized employees. Rishi understands labour and employment disputes, the litigation process, and the importance of workplace conflict resolution.
Rishi left the practice of law in 2024 after his appointment to the Ontario Labour Relations Board as a full time Vice Chair. As a Vice Chair, Rishi adjudicates and mediates workplace disputes arising under a variety of statutes, including the Labour Relations Act, 1995, the Employment Standards Act, 2000, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other statues. Rishi is a member of the Ontario Labour Management Arbitrators’ Association.

Called to the Ontario Bar in 2004, Rishi solely practiced labour and employment law until 2024 when he was appointed to the Ontario Labour Relations Board as Full Time Vice Chair.
From 2004 to 2012 Rishi only represented employers in labour, employment and human rights disputes. From 2013 to 2024, he maintained a mixed practice representing both employers and employees in a variety of employment related matters.
Rishi was recognized by his peers in the Best Lawyers in Canada Publication for 2023, 2024 and 2025.
